Over four weeks, we’ll guide you through making a roomy, durable utility tote from start to finish. The pattern is by Motif Studios and we will be purchasing each student a pattern which will be printed pre class. This class is designed for beginner to intermediate sewists who want to build their skills while working through a practical project you’ll actually use.
We’ll cover preparing and cutting your pattern, working with heavier fabrics, constructing pockets and handles, assembling your tote, and finishing everything neatly. You’ll have plenty of hands-on instruction and time to work through each step with us.
We will have two options for the cost of this class. 175$ and you bring your own fabric and supplies or 200$ and we will supply you with fabric if you want to keep things easy.
You don’t need to own a sewing machine to join us. We have machines available to borrow at no extra cost. If you have your own machine and would prefer to use it, you’re welcome to bring it along.
